Creator's Message To The Native Americans

Hello my name is Steve. I come to you in the name of Jesus the Son of God, who came from God to earth for the purpose of relationship with those whom He created. Jesus has sent me and I come to you as a servant with a broken and sorrowful heart. Jesus and I would like to apologize and ask your forgiveness for the many atrocities done by those who came before in the name of Jesus, who called themselves Christians. They abused, they lied, they were thieves, and they murdered in the name of Jesus. They brought shame upon an honorable people. They broke your hearts and tried to break you wills. I am here today to tell you that "the jesus" that these people brought to you was a false jesus. The Real Jesus would not do these things to you or anybody. The Real Jesus is filled with real love, which is a love that lays down it's life for another,. The Real Jesus does not decieve, lie, steal or murder. The Real Jesus has respect for the customs and traditions of all peoples. The Real Jesus gives hope, He does not destroy dreams and take a peoples dignity from them.

Jesus has sent me to ask for your forgiveness for those people who dishonoured the name and reputation of Jesus, the Son of God who is and is to come. He came from Father God to save that which was lost. It is my hearts desire and the Heart of the Father that a new reationship and beginning be established. A relationship which is built upon love, and a hope for healing , a respect for cultures, and friendship. Thank you for allowing me to share this moment with you.

East Coast Trip part 1

It has been many months since I wrote down a reportof our journeys to the many Native American Nations of this Land. I have journaled on each tribal community we have visited. Sometimes locating them was difficult as some only had a p.office box or only a town location. There were some very nice surprises like locating the Mohican Nation. I had read the book and watched the movie "Last of the Mohicans" and thought that they were gone. It was a true joy and blessing to find them at the Stockbridge-Munsee reservation. Not knowing what tribe was at this reservation, it was very exciting to talk to them and discover that they were indeed still here and flourishing. Praise The Lord for these surprises and blessings. As I write out these journals there are many more blessings to come. Sadly, there are many tribes who no longer exist today,as encroachments on the land, wars, massacres of the whole tribe, wars with other tribes, abuse, and disease brought here by europeans made them only a memory in those of us who pray for the peace and happiness of the Native American peoples and Nations. we began our latest journey by heading west to Aberdeen, Wa. to a Native American conference of Believers hosted by Truman Santiago of Wings of Eagles Ministry. Dr. Jay Swallow Was the featured speaker. It was a true blessing to hear him and visit with our friends which include Colleen Lupe from the Nez Perce Nation in Lapwei, Id. We needed this connection and felt it very important to begin with our Native American Christian co-laborers for Christ. I pray that all those who read these journals shall have an ever-increasing burden for the souls of mankind and that they will have a broken heart for Native Americans who have suffered so much and need Jesus the Saviour, not the imposter namesake "jesus" who many Native Americans associate with the so called white mans god. The Jesus Christ that I speak of is filled with compassion and love and tenderness and is feeling the pain of all human beings this very second. Up to this point we had been to 33 reservations representing about 55 Tribal Nations and peoples. after the conference we traveled through Oregon and Ca. and spent about three weeks resting and visiting friends and family along the way. Blessings to Dorothy in Tillamook, and to Bobbette and Steve in Redding, and to my daughter Pamela,to Phillip her husband and to my grandson Jonathon in Ca. I must point out that along the way the Lord has given us divinve appointments with Native Americans. While on the Oregon coast We met a tribal member of the Potowatomi from Kansas City. We were in the same rv park and had several conversations about ative American history and I learned much from her. Also on the beach I met a full blooded Hawaiian and gave him the same message as I read to the indigenous people here on the mainland. The same things happened to the Native Hawaiian people. Then in Lytle Creek, Ca. I met a Native Sioux-ex and gave him the message. Also, I met a Tonga (Gabrielano) tribal member in Ca. The California Native people suffered much. Many were killed at the hands of gold seekers and ruffians. There many tribes that do not exist now as a result of the gold rush. God has put many people in our path to present this message of truth and hope and repentence. As we begin reporting this trip we have visited 92 reservations which represent about 158 tribes. We have now taken this message to 33 states.

The Creators purpose for Humans

In the beginning God (The Creator) prepared, formed, fashioned and created the heavens and the earth. Genesis chapter one. In the beginning (before all time) was the Word(Jesus Christ). And The Word(Jesus Christ)was with God(The Creator) Himself and The Word(Jesus Christ) was God(The Creator). John 1:1. And He(Jesus Christ) was present originally with God(The Creator)John 1:2 All things were made and came into existence through Him(Jesus Christ); and without Him(Jesus Christ) was not even one thing made that has come into being. John 1:3 In Him (Jesus Christ) was Life, and the Life(Jesus Christ) was the Light of men. John 1:4. And the Light(Jesus Christ shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it(put it out or obsorbed it, or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it.John 1:5. For God(The Creator) so loved the human beings that He had created that He gave part of Himself( His son Jesus Christ) that whosoever chooses to believe in Him(Jesus Christ) should not perish and die, but shall have life that lives on (beyond this flesh life) and he who chooses Jesus Christ shall have a life that shall live forever in Happiness. John 3:16. For He(The Creator) did not send His son(Jesus Christ) into the world to condemn the world, but that the world (all human beings) through Jesus Christ) might be saved from eternal death, preserved from a death which lasts forever but yet is conscious. John 3:17. The creator sent his son Jesus Christ and is offering a gift of life that is relationship with the one who created all things including you. There is only one choice that the creator has given us that we might be saved from death. The first man and woman human beings disobeyed the creator and sin entered the world of humans. Because of this disobedience mankind was separated from the creator. He loved us very much, so much that He sent a part of Himself Jesus His son to repair what had been lost. If we as humans choose the provision for everlasting which the creator has given us we will live and if we do not choose the provision which the creator has given us then we shall die an eternal death. The choice is clear. I pray that all who read this will choose wisely.

Important words from Steve and Debra NEBRASKA 2006
Since we last emailed you we have been to Niobrara, Nebraska to the Ponca tribe, the one hundredth tribal community and 35th state visited. We were directed to the chairman's office. We read the message to a Santee-Sisseton-Wahpeton tribe women. She thanked me. Walked cross to Ponca museum and cultural center and read the message to cultural director. Walked a little further and a lady from the newspaper stopped us and took our picture and interviewed us. I hope it will be published. Praise the Lord Jesus.
We also delivered the message to several people at the Santee Sioux office in Santee NE, The Omaha tribe in Macy, NB, the Winnebago tribe in Winnebago NB, the Iowa tribe of Kansas and Nebraska. There we were able to deliver the message to the tribal chairman in the reception area. He was humbled and thanked us and shook Steve's hand. God Bless the Iowa tribe. We then went to the Sac & Fox tribe of Missouri at Reserve Kansas and was able to share and pray with several people. Then at the Kickapoo Nation, in Horton Kansas we also ran into several people we prayed and shared with. So much pain many deaths and illnesses to pray for. There we also ran into some ladies from the tribe that where Jehovah Witnesses, Father, Bless Them with Your Son Jesus. My they prosper with all good things that begin with You.
We are still trying to outrun the cold weather, but not very successful
at that. We are enjoying a much need rest in Jay, OK in an
RV Park at the Grand Lake, tomorrow we go on to Steve's oldest daughter's for a visit. More later

Crosswalks: Our Latest trip
Important words from Steve and Debra On our way to Pine Ridge there was a Native couple walking towards the direction of the town in the cold, but we were still about twenty miles from town. We drove past and the Lord told me to turn around and see if they needed a ride. Sure enough they did and we all squished into the truck. One thing led to another and we told them what we do and learned about them. Their names were Rod and Henryetta and they needed some money for food, so we helped them. This was on Columbus Day, but in South Dakota they celebrate Native American Day.
SOUTH DAKOTA 2006
It seemed rather appropriate that we would show up on the Lakota Sioux Rez with this message on this day. Our bumper sticker on the truck says Indians discovered America. We talked to several people as we walked through town. The last two men we talked to were very burdened down with heartache of life. The one man looked older that his hears and the Lord gave me a word for him, that Jesus wanted to restore his youth. Another lady said she had heard of us before. This is not the first time we have heard this. We heard it on the Black feet Rez in Mt and at Fort Hall, ID. Let God be glorified and Jesus be lifted up. Father, recover, heal, prosper and save the people of Pine Ridge reservation.

We then walked to the offices and Steve shared with five people and also the receptionist. She gave Steve two dollars for water. God Bless her and the Crow Nation with prosperity, hope, and Jesus. I need to send each set of pictures separately, so more will follow.

Crosswalks: Crosswalk on Spokane Reservation
Important words from Steve and Debra August 9,2003 We left for the Spokane Tribe in Willpinit,WA. Our first contact was with a man at the waste disposal sight. We spoke God's message and He received it very well, and as many people have told us, he said that he wished there were more people who felt as we did. He told us that there was an evangelistic event going on in town. He suggested that we meet with them. We ent on into town and began praying for God's wishom and He spoke to us and told us to go to the meeting which was called "Youth Explosion". We found the tribal campground and approached the leaders. We shared with them our purpose and they were very encouraged by what God had sent us to do. They asked us to stay and have lunch. We said that we would come back after we walked the cross.

The Campground at Medical Lake
During our Washington trip in August 2003 a young couple was camped next to us. The Lord told me that he was Native American. I shared the message with him and then discovered that he was a born again Christian from Puyalup, WA. He had not been talking to the Lord and we were able to encourage him. We prayed together. We will go there someday to his tribe and share this message, or maybe this contact with him was the contact with his tribe.

Nez Perce Reservation-Lapwai, ID 3rd visit.
This was the first reservation we walked the cross on a year ago, last spring. Our second visit was to come here for Colleen Lupe's 70th birthday party. It was such an honor to be invited back to the reservation for that. See the photo album for more on that.We had hoped to see Colleen, but she was in South Dakota for a conference. We stopped and visited with Olivia Jackson, her daughter. We prayed for her and went on the road.

Crosswalks: Couer D'Alene Reservation-Plummer, ID
This was a very small town with a store and corner tribal offices. Not many Native Americans living there. We had three encounters. The first was a man who stopped and said that he was a believer. He was a real blessing as we had had many obstacles getting there. I was the first crosswalk on a reservation, this trip. We had almost had a fire in the truck, our map had fallen down between the shell and the cab and almost was smoldering when we stopped for ice at a convenience store. Anyway the man prayed for us and gave us a bottle of water with scriptures printed on the label, which was pretty cool because I had given out cold water in the parks in the the past with a tract I had written attached to them. Having it printed right on the label was pretty cool. The second encounter, we talked to a Couer D'Alene man who was very drunk. We shared the message and only God knows if he received it. The third encounter, we were walking back to the truck and a lady was standing at the store across the street. She saw me wlaking the cross and she sort of pranced back and forth and waved at me in a childlike manner and then turned the corner at the store. Later I was recaping this to Debra and I made the comment that maybe she had been an Angel. I might never know, but the Holy Spirit came over me when I said this. I do know that this day was a hard one and we received encouragement that we really needed in spite of what seemed like no success. God sent his messangers to encourage us and tell us to keep going, your doing what I want you to do.

Arizona Trip
Important words from Steve and Debra The Mohave Reservation, Needles CA
We walked through a small communty that surrounded the Tribal offices. We shared with two ladies who were getting out of their car. This was another situation when at first they were reluctant, but when we were through they were happy and thankful that a message such as this was being delivered. We delivered our message to the receptionist at the Tribal Office and started walking out of the community. A Christian came by and cncourage us and thanked us for coming.

Arizona Trip
Important words from Steve and Debra Cocapah Reservation, South of Yuma,AZ
A very spread out reservation. We drove south thinking we were headed toward the tribal offices. We learned that the reservation is divided into three communities; the north, the east, and the west. As God orders our path we took a series of turns and wound up in a very poor north community. We started praying as we felt the oppression and hopelessness very strong there. I saw a man walk past us, as we slowly drove by. His face was scarred and he was very sad. As we came to the end of the street the Lord told me to go back. I stopped the truck near him and told him why I had come, he agreed to listen. I read the message of apology and he thanked me. We drove away with our hearts in prayer for this man's future. We drove on and found the west communty, which contained the Communty Center, Museum and Tribal offices. We started at the other end in a neighhood that circled around and came back to the Community Center. As we prayed and walked the cross, with "Broken Walls" by Jonathan Miracle of the Hohawk, playing on the boombox, a young man came up to us. He asked what we were doing and I read the letter to him. He said that he had heard of Jesus before. I asked if he wanted to hear more. He did and he accepted Jesus the Son of God and invited Him to live in his heart. We embraced as brothers and he had to go. Seven children ages seven to twelve were watching and listening very closely. We asked them if they wanted to know Jesus the Savior. They also wanted to invite Him to live in their hearts. They all together invited Jesus to be their friend and live in their hearts and be with them always. We talked to people at the Communty Center and we also kneeled and prayed for the Cocopah tribe at the Tribal offices. We were very thankful to Jesus for the privalege to be here among these wonderful people. This was a good moment.
